About the Artist

During this Photography One class I learned a lot about what makes a good image. This class was very different from my other classes I take as an Art Major, I began to think differently as the creative process changed. Compositionally I became more aware of how to set up my photos to create a sophisticated piece, or to not plan out a photo and see how the composition takes over by itself. I noticed that I created a style for myself that could also be seen in a lot of my other work in Drawing, Painting, and even Ceramics. Using this information that I learned from this class, I can now apply it to my other works and understand the flow of progress through my portfolio.
